A week after I bought it it overheated and it hasn't worked properly since. Engine warms ups upto 90 as normal within 5 mins or so as before. I had the cam belt & tensioner replaced 4000 miles ago by my local garage & know the pump wasnt changed I'm thinking more along the lines of head gasket failure http://myfreepsd.com/ford-galaxy/ford-galaxy-no-heating.html This means I can normally have it switched off and only put it on if the journey would be long enough to make it worthwhile.My auxillary coolant pump has also recently It does'nt come on now so no more smoke and also to add it feels like it is better on the fuel side cos i do a lot of short journeys The Ford dealers have not been able to fix this problem. Did it smoke on start up before you added redex, if not why bother adding the redex? I also discovered when the cold weather hit that the heaters had stopped working.
