It's possible for just one of those filaments to break and the other to be fine which would cause something like brake lights working but not rear lights/headlights. I have a kill switch for fuel pump now, but my issue is with my lights. If you switch the lights on, can you measure the voltage with a multimeter set to DC volts between this wire and the car bodywork? Checked all fuses and replaced light switch. A faulty rheostat for the dash lights can do this, and it is integral with the switch. Everything shorted out. All of the elec.
