I have a 54 plate Ka, and the washer jets aren't working. I HAVE FILLED UP THE WASHER BOTTLE AND CLEANED THE JETS USING A PIN.. I would try to de-ice with a hair dryer - probably take about 20 mins if completely solid. A genuine Ford part will cost you about £50 for the pump plus fitting; the most expensive option! I would avoid using the pump until it has defrosted fully, just in case. to the rear there is nothing happening at all, the two front washers will work ever so slightly sometimes just a little trickle. Will give the hairdryer trick a go tonight, but if not how much is it likely to cost to replace/fix? If it does need replacing it shouldn't take 1-2 hours to change, I would have thought 20 minutes at most.
