They can hear me in the car but I can't hear them. My Ford Sync touch(2013 Escape SEL) has always paired with this phone very well for 3 years,,,, no issues until recent Sync software upgrade(3.8 version). I did it. I am able to connect to my husband's Microsoft Sync (older version) in her Ford, but my iPhone won't work with my Bluetooth in my Ford. You’ll know when this happens because the car's stereo screen and speakers will turn on. My MINI registers on my iPhone, but when I try to connect it from the car it just says "Searching…" and never finds my iPhone. Did a master reset of sync and still same problem. Now the menu button does nothing and I'm in worse shape than before. RightThinker50 I have done ALL of these things several times including master reset twice. When you plug it into the USB port, you then have to use a voice command of "USB" for the system to start the music… the system should at first reply, Ford Sync Master Reset

Also, look at your owner's manual (which you can download online) and find out which fuse is the sync fuse. I finally became desperate and hit the reset on the menu.
