Problem resolved by;- Renaming the MSForms.exd in the following locations solved the problem. I and my manager had this problem at work at the same period, so I think it was really related to office updates. Excel Buttons Don't Work So Ideleted the xsd files, and it works ok for Excel 2007. Removing the recent updates. If you have automatic updates switched on, you will have had this update. If so, that would suggest an issue with the MSForms library (fm20.dll) which would in turn suggest an issue with an update, even though you said there hadn't been any.
