This **is the** very best solution. If I hit F9, it does not help. all other math operators(*,+,_) are working fine, problem only with / operator. - Still, I do used to see the proper values in the file earlier.
- For example, if you are totaling a column using a formula like SUM(A:A) and input that formula in any cell of column A, the formula will return 0.
- I cannot figure out why it is doing that.
- For some reason this script only recognises the cell colour if I manually change it.
- At first sight, they look like normal numbers, but Microsoft Excel perceives them as text strings and leaves them out of calculations.

Since the UI normally doesn't indicate the format of a cell or column, you may get unexpected results. You saved me more than a few hours of aggravation with that little tip.
